Tourist supply prices increase by 3.7% in the first quarter of 2025

Porto Inglês, Apr 25 (Inforpress) – Tourist supply prices in Cabo Verde increased by 3.7 percent (%) in the first quarter of 2025, year-on-year, representing an acceleration of 1.1 percentage points compared to the previous quarter, according to data released by INE.

According to the National Statistics Institute (INE), this evolution reflects, above all, the increases recorded in the Hotels, Cafés and Restaurants classes, which recorded an annual variation of 3.8%.

The islands of Sal, São Vicente, Santo Antão and Santiago led the increases in accommodation and catering prices, with variations of 9.1 per cent, 7.7 per cent, 2.7 per cent and 1.1 per cent respectively. There were no changes in prices on the island of Boa Vista.

Prices for car hire services also rose by 0.4 per cent, while entertainment and culture services remained unchanged.
