Praia, Apr 2 (Inforpress) – The action plan of the Rural Socioeconomic Opportunities Program (Poser) includes “considerable investments” and the two-year extension will have funding of around 5.5 million dollars.
In fact, the Minister of Agriculture and Environment held today the first meeting of the Steering Committee of the Rural Socioeconomic Opportunities Program (Poser), with a view to increasing rural opportunities.
Gilberto Silva explained to the press that the Government Program aims to increase rural opportunities, socioeconomic opportunities for rural families, especially female heads of households, and therefore contribute “strongly” to poverty reduction.
Likewise, to strengthen the economic activities that are carried out in the countryside, with reference to agriculture and livestock farming, but also fishing.
