Local elections2024/Ribeira Brava: José Martins wants another mandate to ‘continue the process’ of development

Ribeira Brava, Oct 28 (Inforpress) - The candidate of the Movement for Democracy (MpD, ruling) for the city council of Ribeira Brava (São Nicolau), José Martins, wants another term at the head of the municipality to continue the ‘development process’ of the municipality.

José Martins expressed this wish during the public presentation of his candidacy for the local elections on 1st December, on Sunday 27th. 

‘Aware that we haven't managed to do everything that was in our programme, we're asking for the Ribeira-Bravenses to renew our trust so that we can continue with this important project for the development of this municipality,’ he appealed.

According to him, during his first term ‘the foundations were laid’ for the municipality to have ‘effective development’ that responds to the wishes of the population.
