Praia: Soren Araújo presents ‘Reflexx’ and argues that art is essential for mental health

Praia, Apr 15 (Inforpress) - Musician and photographer Soren Araújo presents the show ‘Reflexx’ on 26 April in Praia, a sensory experience that fuses music and image.

According to the artist, this is an invitation to reflect, emphasising the importance of art for mental health.

The show, which takes place at 7pm at the Ildo Lobo Palace of Culture, is intended as an immersive journey, where sound and image intertwine to create emotional landscapes that break down the boundaries between the real and the imaginary, the artist told Inforpress on International Arts Day.

Inspired by the reflections of Wales, where he currently lives, the Cape Verdean transforms nature into art by capturing sound and visual elements such as water, wind and light, materialising them in music and photography.
