Football: Vozinha presented by Colo-Colo in front of more than 35,000 fans

Praia, 6 August (Inforpress) – Cape Verdean international goalkeeper Vozinha was officially presented as a new signing for Colo-Colo (Chile) at a ceremony held at the Monumental Stadium in Santiago, Chile, which was attended by more than 35,000 of the club’s supporters.

According to the newspaper Abola, the presentation featured a fireworks display, music and a showcase of the trophies won by Colo-Colo, in a festive atmosphere created to welcome the Cape Verdean goalkeeper.

To the applause of the fans, Vozinha expressed his delight with the warm reception he received from the club and its supporters.

‘I wasn’t expecting that. I’m very, very happy. Happy to have the chance to play here. Thank you very much to everyone,’ said the 40-year-old goalkeeper.
