Praia, Apr 11 (Inforpress) - Cape Verdean writer Danny Spínola, who is also president of the Cape Verdean Authors Association (SOCA), is launching six books this afternoon as part of his 33 years in publishing and 39 works released.

Speaking to Inforpress, writer Danny Spínola said that the release of these works enriches the ‘vast repertoire’ of his work.

‘Thirty-three years of editions represents a milestone of work, the same thing for 39 works, in other words, practically a lifetime of publishing and that represents the whole journey so far.’

In this case, the poet and fiction writer pointed out that some of the books are new editions, revisiting works that have already been published, renewed and metamorphosed, and now gaining a new flavour and prominence in specific collections, from epic, satirical and contestatory to metaphysical, lyrical and erotic, full of cosmic and infinite images and allegories.
