Writer Germano Almeida says that the book he is launching today in Mindelo “has nothing controversial”

Mindelo, Apr 30 (Inforpress) - The Cultural Centre of Mindelo (CCM) is today hosting the presentation of the book ‘Crime nas Correntes d'Escritas’, by the writer Germano Almeida, who assured that despite the controversy generated by the publication of the work, there is ‘nothing controversial about it’.

A guarantee given by the author himself to Inforpress when asked about the controversy that preceded the publication of the book with the Portuguese publisher Caminho.

At the time, the publisher claimed that there was a risk of the book being sued because the characters were real, living people who ‘might not feel comfortable with the story’.

However, according to Germano Almeida, ‘there is nothing controversial’.
