The Academic Association of Porto Novo invests in a project on the inclusion of young people in the job market.

Porto Novo, July 6 (Inforpress) – Académica do Porto Novo, in Santo Antão, announced today that it has secured co-financing from the Small Projects Fund 2026 for a project on the training and inclusion of young people in the labor market.

This sports association explained that the project entitled “Engine of Opportunities: Training and Inclusion of Young People in the Labor Market” was selected for co-financing under the Small Projects Fund 2026 Program, promoted by the Portuguese Embassy in Cabo Verde and financed by Camões, I.P.

According to the same source, the project focuses on capacity-building, professional training, guidance and the integration of young people into the labour market, “promoting greater hope, independence and social development for our community”.

The project also represents “a real opportunity to transform lives, create opportunities and boost the inclusion and employability of young people in Santo Antão”, It explained.
