São Vicente/Theatrical Merit Award: Sílvia Lima receives award with ‘great honour’

Mindelo, Mar 26 (Inforpress) - Actress Sílvia Lima was chosen at the Mindelact Association's General Assembly for the 2025 Theatrical Merit Award, a prize she considers to be a ‘great honour’ and a stimulus to continue working.

As she told Inforpress, receiving this award ‘means a lot’ and is a ‘great honour’, as one of her biggest dreams was to become a professional actress, although she was unable to go abroad to train.

Even so, Sílvia Lima is pleased with the training she has received in the country, which has enabled her to reach the point of being honoured and to have another ‘incentive and determination’ to continue doing what she loves best and to please, above all, the public.

For this reason, the actress assures us that the award has ‘three great meanings’ for her, starting with the fact that it corresponds to all her dedication to the theatre, which began when she was 16 years old.
