São Vicente/Rains: Search for missing people continues – Crisis Office

Mindelo, Aug 21 (Inforpress) – The Crisis Office reported today, in Mindelo, that the search for the two people missing due to the heavy rains that hit São Vicente, is still ongoing, as is the work of cleaning and clearing the roads.

The office's spokesperson, Vitória Veríssimo, provided the information in the company's regular briefing on the island's recovery situation.

According to the same source, searches for the missing are being carried out along the entire coast of São Vicente Bay.

The divers,she added, are also collecting all materials and equipment that may have been carried out to sea by the floods.
