Mindelo, Apr 17 (Inforpress) - The singer Fattú Djakité is presenting her new single ‘Badja Tina’ in Mindelo this Friday, 18 April, which seeks to trigger a debate on child marriage in Guinea-Bissau and sexual abuse in Cabo Verde.
As she told Inforpress, the subject will also be presented in a video clip, expressed in the form of dance freedom, to show that the subject, although somewhat ‘taboo’, still exists in these two realities.
Fattú Djakité believes that in Guinea-Bissau, the country where he was born, the practice of child marriage is ‘still explicit’.
‘And you can't talk about it without talking about the sexual abuse of children, even more so when we're forced to,’ criticised the artist who wants to be ‘a cry for freedom’ for the girls faced with this situation.
