Raiz de Cabo Verde Certification Entity receives international WebTrust seal (with audio)

Praia, May 2 (Inforpress) - The Raiz de Cabo Verde Certification Entity, under the management of the Multisectoral Regulatory Agency for the Economy (ARME), was officially distinguished today with the international WebTrust seal, which validates the highest standards of security, reliability and digital compliance.

The delivery of the certificate, which attests to the security and reliability of online transactions, took place during a workshop on the theme: “Trust and Security - WebTrust at the Raiz Certification Entity of Cabo Verde”, held by ARME, in Praia.

In an interview with the press, the president of ARME, Leonilde dos Santos, highlighted that the milestone is the result of a process initiated by the Government, through the Special Projects Management Unit (UGPE), within the scope of the Digital Cabo Verde project.

"We have adapted legislation and regulations to be in line with international practices. Obtaining the WebTrust seal is the highest level of digital trust," he said.
