Professionals from the Praia and São Domingos health centres receive training on hospital cleaning

Praia, Mar 27 (Inforpress) - Operational professionals from the Praia and São Domingos health centres began training today on hospital cleaning, promoted by the National Health Directorate, with a focus on providing quality care to patients.

Running for two days, this training session at the Tira Chapéu Health Centre in Praia is part of a series of activities commemorating World Hand Hygiene Day that will be held throughout the year.

During the event, professionals who work directly in cleaning will have the opportunity to learn about the best hospital cleaning practices, which aim to ensure a safe environment for both patients and healthcare professionals.

Speaking to the press, the national coordinator for Patient Safety, Edite Silva, emphasised the importance of this training for the implementation of safe hygiene practices in health services.
