Porto Novo: Sonjon Revoltiód Group performs at the tenth edition of the “Weekend Capverdien” event in Luxembourg

Porto Novo, July 13 (Inforpress) – The Sonjon Revoltiód group from Porto Novo, Santo Antão, traveled today to Luxembourg, where they will perform on Saturday the 18th, in the pilgrimage parade, as part of the 10th edition of the Weekend Capverdien event.

The group's leader, João Morais, confirmed the group's trip to Luxembourg, at the invitation of the organizers of the "Weekend Capverdien," run by the Associação Veteranos do Norte (Northern Veterans Association), in Ettelbruck.

The group, made up of drummers and dancers from the São João festivities, will take part in a pilgrimage parade alongside the Kola Sonjon Lux group and members of the public.

This is the second trip abroad by the Sonjon Revoltiód group to promote the culture of Porto Novo, after having been in Dakar (Senegal) at the end of 2025).
