Porto Novo/Monte Trigo: Integrated project in the start-up phase with the arrival of the first equipment - promoters

Porto Novo, Apr 30 (Inforpress) – The integrated project of the fishing village of Monte Trigo, in the municipality of Porto Novo, is already in the starting phase with the arrival of the first equipment to the location, a source from the project reported today.

This is a project worth over 70 thousand contos, launched in September 2024 by the Government and which foresees the reinforcement of the local solar energy production unit, which will increase from 40 kWp to 100 kWp, thus reestablishing the supply of electricity 24 hours a day in that town.

The same source confirmed that the project also consists of installing a seawater desalination unit with a production capacity of 25 cubic meters per day, in addition to investments in improving sanitation.

Inforpress also learned that the seawater desalination unit is already in the implementation phase within the scope of this project.
