Mosteiros: 11th edition of the Fogo Coffee Festival starts today

São Filipe, Apr 25 (Inforpress) – The 11th edition of the Fogo Coffee Festival kicks off today, at Praça Azambuja (Mosteiros) with a program that includes the crafts fair and the conference on “Modern and ecological agriculture and coffee growing”.

The Fogo Coffee Festival, which runs until April 27, features several activities, including fairs, contests, literary launches, exhibitions and sports competitions such as the seventh Fogo Coffee Race, in the senior male and female, paralympic and veteran categories, as well as the male and female kids category (under 8, under 12 and under 14).

In terms of culture, Fogo Coffee Fest has several proposals, from music, with performances by local bands, to coladeira/bandeira demonstrations, moments dedicated to dance and theater.

The 11th edition features exhibitors from abroad and the participation of delegations from Colombia, Spain and Portugal.
