Praia, May 2 (Inforpress) – The Lisbon Museum - Palácio Pimenta will host this Saturday, the 3rd, the Cape Verdean cultural event “Morabeza Lx” which aims to promote cultural exchange and highlight the gastronomic, musical, literary and artistic wealth of the archipelago.

According to a press release from the organization, to which Inforpress had access, more than 1,500 people are expected to join during the day in a “vibrant celebration” of Cape Verdean culture.

“‘Morabeza Lx’ will feature several activities that will allow the public to learn about and experience Cape Verdean traditions,” highlighted the source, who added that among the highlights of the program is gastronomy, taking a journey through the authentic flavors of Cabo Verde, with typical dishes such as cachupa, beans and fish.

Within the gastronomy, there will be the “Best Cachupa in Lisbon” competition, where chefs and cooks will have the opportunity to present their versions of this iconic dish.
