Handball: President-elect outlines priorities for the sport in Cabo Verde

Praia, Apr 4 (Inforpress) - The new president of the Cape Verdean Handball Federation (FCA) today highlighted internal organisation and the strengthening of partnerships to raise handball to a higher level as the priorities for the development of the sport.

Speaking to Inforpress, Ângela Almeida stressed that the initial priority was to support the tournament and organise the federation structure.

With regard to strengthening partnerships with sponsors and institutions such as the Cape Verdean Olympic Committee (COC) and the Sports and Youth Institute (IDJ), she defended the need for greater visibility for the sport.
