Football: FCF releases Cabo Verde Cup calendar but only five matches have dates

Mindelo, Apr 3 (Inforpress) - The Cape Verdean Football Federation (FCF) today announced the schedule for the 2024/2025 Cape Verde Cup, but only the five group stage qualifiers have dates set, with the semi-finals and final still to be determined.

The calendar sent to Inforpress shows the dates of three matches in Group A, made up of the winners of the regional cups of Santo Antão Norte, Sal, São Nicolau, Mindelense (São Vicente) and Lajedos (Santo Antão Sul), and two in Group B, which is made up of the representatives of Santiago Norte, Boa Vista, Sporting da Praia (Santiago Sul) and Fogo.

The first match in Group A is scheduled for Sunday 6 April between Mindelense and Lajedos at the Adérito Sena Stadium, while the winner of that game will compete again on 12 April when they host São Nicolau.

On the same day and in the same group, the Santo Norte representative will face the winner of the Sal Island Cup.
