Praia, May 27 (Inforpress) - The Cape Verdean national football team is currently in Malaysia, where it is starting to prepare for three private matches in the FIFA match window, the first of which will take place on Thursday 29 against Malaysia.

According to the vice-president of the Cape Verdean Football Federation, Paulo Santos, the technical team, led by coach Pedro Brito, better known as Bubista, expects to have all the players called up today for these matches in preparation for upcoming international commitments.

Most of the team arrived in Malaysia on Monday, but the caravan will only be complete on Tuesday, as some of the players had commitments with their clubs last weekend.

According to the federation's calendar, the senior men's national team has three friendly matches scheduled in this window, two with Malaysia and one with Georgia, so the training camp began on Monday in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and ends on 9 June in Kutaisi, Georgia.
