São Filipe, Oct 16 (Inforpress) – The Chã Branco wine, 2024 harvest, was awarded the Great Gold Medal at the XXXIII edition of the Extreme Wines World Cup, held on September 20 and 21 in Sarre (Italy).

The distinction was confirmed on Wednesday, the 15th, to Adega Cooperativa de Chã das Caldeiras, two weeks after the winery received information that the 2024 harvest red wine had won the gold medal, according to Rosando Monteiro, representative of the institution.

The Great Gold Medal, the highest prize awarded by the competition organizers, highlights wines that obtain scores above 85/100, surpassing the Gold Medal in prestige and recognition.

In addition to the white wine, the winery's 2024 harvest was awarded twice, with the red wine also receiving a Gold Medal, reinforcing the quality and excellence of local production, which left the winery's managers and producers "very satisfied" with the distinction.
