Cabo Verde ends the year ranked 67th by FIFA

Praia City, Dec 23 (Inforpress) – Cabo Verde climbed one position in the FIFA ranking, updated this Monday, and ends the year in 67th place, in a table still led by Spain’s national team, with 1,877.18 points.

The Tubarões Azuis, as the Cape Verdean national team is known, now total 1,370.49 points.

Cabo Verde is thus ranked 13th in Africa, just behind Morocco, Senegal, Algeria, Egypt, Nigeria, Tunisia, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, DR Congo, Cameroon, South Africa and Burkina Faso.
