Praia City, April 7 (Inforpress) – The concessionaire CV Interilhas announced this Monday the suspension of return trips on the "Redonda" and "Triangular" lines, starting this Tuesday, April 7, due to the worsening sea conditions in the archipelago.
According to a company statement, the decision is based on the Maritime Meteorological Bulletin issued by the National Institute of Meteorology and Geophysics (INMG), which predicts a significant intensification of the wind and a consequent deterioration of navigation conditions in the coming days.
The suspension affects return trips on the Round Line, which connects the islands of Santiago, Boa Vista, Sal, São Nicolau, and São Vicente. Operations on the Triangular Line, which runs between São Vicente and São Nicolau, Santiago, and São Nicolau, are also suspended.
CV Interilhas guarantees that it will continue to monitor the evolution of weather conditions, ensuring that operations will resume as soon as all safety conditions for inter-island navigation are met.
