AME 2025: Artists surrender to the energy of the audience at the Atlantic Music Expo

Praia, Apr 10 (Inforpress) - The musicians who performed on Wednesday night at the Atlantic Music Expo (AME) in Praia were full of praise for the vibrant energy and receptivity felt during the shows, highlighting the deep connection with the Cape Verdean audience.

Coming from all over the world, from Morocco to Guinea-Bissau, as well as Italy, Canada, Haiti and Cabo Verde, the musicians surrendered to the audience's receptivity.

For Hasan, lead singer of the Moroccan band Tasuta N-imal, who closed the night on a high note, the experience was so intense that he already considers Cabo Verde a second home. The group surprised the audience by starting the show with the song ‘Sodade’, well known in the voice of Cesária Évora.

"I really love this place and I've already told my band mates that I want to stay here. The audience is really incredible and the concert was amazing. The energy of the audience is another level, it's really another level!" he exclaimed.
