Afrobasket’2025: Cabo Verde’s national team debuts today against DR Congo

Praia, Aug 13 (Inforpress) – The Cape Verdean men's senior basketball team makes its debut today, at 5:00 pm, in Afrobasket'2025, against the Democratic Republic of Congo, in a Group A game of the competition that began on Monday, 12, in Angola.

Cape Verde shares the group with the teams from Ivory Coast, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda.

The " Tubarões Azuis", as the Cape Verdean national teams are known, will compete again two days later, on August 15, against Ivory Coast, and will close the group stage on the 17th, in a match against the Rwandan national team.

Afrobasket'2025 will be held in the Angolan cities of Luanda, Benguela and Namibe.
