World Cup 2018: Cabo Verde completes third day of training with Fernando Varela complaining about some “pains”

 

Praia, Nov 9 (Inforpress) – The Cabo Verdean national team meets today in the Algarve, Portugal, for its third day of training for the game with Burkina Faso, with Fernando Varela as the only player with a clinical situation concern.

According to the Cabo Verdean Football Federation (FCF), the PAOK player from Greece arrived with some “injuries”, but according to the evaluation of the medical team the injury is not impediment so that the central defender can contribute to the national team in the game against the Burkina.

“Regarding the clinical situation, Fernando Varela, who came from the PAOK with a minor injury, trained separately, but the evaluation of the medical team is that the injury will not be impeditive to contribute to the Blue Sharks”, clarifies the note from the Federation.

The national team’s training continues until Sunday, November 12, the date of departure for Ouagadougou, where, on 14 December, Cabo Verde will play the last qualifying match for the World Cup 2018 in Russia against Burkina Faso.
