Praia, Sep 26 (Inforpress) – Attacking Senegal duo Keita Baldé (Monaco) and Ismaila Sarr (Rennes), may be absent of the Aliou Cissé squad on October 7 against the game with Cabo Verde, due to injuries incurred in their respective clubs.
According to the Senegalese newspaper Le Soleil, “it would be the death of the artist” the absence of these two attacking players, since they are indispensable for the front of attack of the Senegalese team, along with Seydou Mané.
The newspaper reports that Keita Baldé is suffering from an injury to the adductors and did not participate in a 4-0 win over Lille in the seventh round of the French championship this weekend.
Ismaïla Sarr came out on the sidelines in the 37th minute of the first half, in in the game of Rennes against Saint- Etienne.
To replace these two players the Senegalese press is betting on Mbaye Niang (Torino), DiafraSakho (West Ham) or Moussa Konaté, who has made a good start in the French league season in the Armiens SC.
