Praia, Jan 26 (Inforpress) – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Olavo Correia, announced Tuesday that the World Bank has just approved an additional 10 million dollars loan to Cabo Verde to finance the Social Inclusion Project.
According to a publication on the vice-first’s facebook page, this additional credit will benefit around 18 thousand families with Social Inclusion Income (in the monthly amount of 5.500 escudos per family).
The official stressed that this mechanism of Social Inclusion Income was recently attributed to about 4,500 families, and due to the emergency situation caused by covid-19, it was extended to about 5,500 more families.
“With this reinforcement, 18 thousand families will benefit – with this, covering a total of about 28 thousand families”, highlighted Olavo Correia.
