Sal Rei, April 27 (Inforpress) – The World Bank Director for Cape Verde, Keiko Miwa, said today in Boa Vista that Cape Verde’s success will be a “good example” to be shared and inspiring for other countries, particularly African ones.
Keiko Miwa spoke at the opening of the International Partners Conference, promoted by the Government with the objective of mobilizing resources for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Strategic Plan (PEDS II – 2022/26).
A document that, as she advanced, arrives at a key moment, when many countries, like Cape Verde, have been affected by the multiple crises of recent years with very serious impacts on small island economies, such as the archipelago.
“However, the Cape Verdean government tends to turn the crisis into opportunities consolidating past reforms,” emphasized the World Bank representative.
