Praia, Oct 4 (Inforpress) – “New generation of Cabo Verdean football” is the title of the book by the young William Sena Vieira (Jota Jota), launched Tuesday in Praia City.
The book, according to the author, reports on the footsteps of 45 young Cabo Verdean footballers scattered around the world and who in his perspective have the potential to be in the national team of Cabo Verde or the host countries in the future.
“We have Kevin Oliveira, Giovanny Cabral from Assomada. Therefore, there is a core of players who came from the Batuque school, there are a core of players who came from the EPIF school, but there are also players who were trained abroad and more concretely in the Netherlands, Portugal, France, USA, among others countries,” he said.
Jota Jota says that initially had about 100 players that was limited until reaching the 45 players portrayed in the book.
The book, according to the author was written with the purpose of valuing the Cabo Verdean athlete and strengthen the sports literature in Cabo Verde.
