Praia, Mar 18 (Inforpress) – The Cabo Verdean Association for the Protection of the Family (VerdeFam) has received, in the last five years, from development partners, about 110 million escudos to implement sexual and reproductive health.
The information was released Tuesday by the president of VerdeFam, Francisco Tavares, during a press conference to present the celebratory activities of the 25 years of this association, marked on March 25.
“Suffice it to say that in the last year we have applied around 52 million escudos from our budget in this area and if we analyze, in the last five years, surely, we will be close to 200 million escudos applied in the field of sexual and reproductive health”, he said.
According to Francisco Tavares, VerdeFam has been contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goal 3, related to quality health, and to promote well-being for all and at all ages.
