Praia, Mar 6 (Inforpress) – The president of UNITA visited the president of the National Assembly, on his third visit to Cabo Verde, a country he praised for “transparency and good governance”, focused on “deepening friendship and partnership” between the two countries.
Speaking to the press, this Thursday, the President of the National Union of Total Independence of Angola (UNITA), Adalberto Costa Júnior, stated that the essence of the message of “transparency and good governance” appears in the scope of an increasingly fruitful cooperation between the two countries.
“Although the relations are good, there are still fields to be explored. We have the opportunity for both countries to go even further”, stressed the president of UNITA.
Asked about the ‘Luanda Leaks’ case, he said that Angola has a set of challenges, with the reform of Angola being one of the main priorities at the moment, but said that “this case reveals a justice that is not yet independent”.
