Uni-CV: “We left a university which has evolved a lot in recent years and with a feeling of mission accomplished” – Judite Nascimento

Praia, Jan 12 (Inforpress) – The rector of the University of Cabo Verde (Uni-CV) considers that despite the constraints recorded throughout her administration, the feeling is “mission accomplished” and leaves a university which has evolved a lot in the last eight years of her term.

Judite Nascimento made these statements in an interview with Inforpress, in order to make an assessment of the results of her management as rector of the University of Cabo Verde, highlighting that Uni-CV is preparing to elect its new rector next 19th this month.

“The first round of the elections will take place on the 19th, so in principle if everything goes well and we have the definition of the results already on the 19th, some of the candidates have an absolute majority we will already have a new rector elected on the 20th”, she said, stating that if there is no absolute majority of the candidates,  Uni-CV has a schedule prepared for this eventuality and a second round will be organised, which will take place at the end of January.

As she reported, at the moment the current team that is part of the rectory of Uni-CV is closing the projects and reports and preparing the folders to be delivered soon after the inauguration, “looking forward”  to the elections results.
