Praia, Jul 22 (Inforpress) – The University of Cabo Verde (Uni-CV) will host the 12th Conference on higher education challenges in new social and geopolitical contexts in the Lusophone space next November.
According to an information note, the conference is a joint organization of the FORGES Association and the University of Cabo Verde between 23 and 25 November and takes place within the framework of the 16th anniversary of Uni-CV.
Participation in the conference, the statement said, can be done in person in the City of Praia or online and will have the participation of researchers and higher education institutions from Angola, Brazil, Cabo Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Macau, Mozambique, Portugal, Sao Tome and Principe and East Timor.
The programme includes the inaugural conference, closing conference, plenary sessions, forums on the different subjects of the FORGES Academy and parallel sessions.
“The purpose of this conference is to bring the whole academic community closer together, in particular educational policy decision-makers, members of higher education institutions, administrators, teachers and researchers,” reads the note which considers the event an opportunity to promote reflection on some of the main structuring themes of higher education, as a space for cooperation, sharing, learning and reference research.
