Ulisses Correia e Silva says he has measures in progress to improve the business environment

Praia, Nov 15 (Inforpress) – The Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, assured that the Government has a series of measures underway that will reflect in the coming year on the improvement of the business environment and the position of Cabo Verde in the “Doing Business”.

The “Doing Business” project prepares reports and indexes on the ease of doing business in several countries, that is, the extent to which regulation promotes business development.

The announcement was made in statements to the press after presiding over the opening ceremony of the 21st edition of the International Fair of Cabo Verde (FIC), which started on Wednesday and ends on Sunday, 18.

“We have a set of measures underway to improve the conditions of administration, computerization and integration of services through the Citizen’s House, which will have an impact not only on the resolution of time, but also on the cost of operations which has to do with companies”, he said.
