TICV states it will not leave Cabo Verde and awaits authorization to move forward with summer schedule

Praia, May 17 (Inforpress) – The Director General of Cabo Verde’s Interisland Transport (TICV) said today the company has already handed over to the Civil Aviation Agency (AAC) its 2021 summer schedule, indicating it is not the company’s intention to leave Cabo Verde.

In response to an email sent by Inforpress, Luís Quinta confirmed last week’s holding of several meetings between TICV shareholders and a law firm representing the Government of Cabo Verde.

However, it has refused to advance information indicating any information can only be provided by shareholders. It also declined to comment on the content of the Government’s statement distributed Friday, 14.

“What I can tell you is that we have just delivered to AAC our schedule for the ‘Summer Season’ 2021, from that same day, and we are now waiting for the AAC’s authorization. It is usually a fast process,” said the Director-General of TICV.
