Praia, Aug 11 (Inforpress) – The Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, reiterated Thursday in Praia that all the rights of the Air Transport Company (TACV) workers, in the process of restructuring, will be safeguarded.
Ulisses Correia e Silva, who was speaking at the signing ceremony of the management contract between TACV and Icelandair’s Loftleider Icelandic, underlined the need to privatize the national company since, he stressed, in the way that it is “not can continue. ”
“The TACV workers can be sure because, as we have always said, all rights will be safeguarded. The company has to be restructured we have to reduce costs, we have solutions to the debt problem,” he said.
The head of the Government recalled that the executive is committed to the transformation of the country into an air hub, which in its perspective will bring new opportunities and new jobs with the expansion of the activity in the air transport sector in Cabo Verde.
