Taxpayers and tax administration “only have to gain” with electronic invoice – responsible

Praia, Aug 11 (Inforpress) – The Director General of Contribution and Taxes, Dénis Schofield Cardoso, assured this Wednesday, in Praia, that taxpayers and the tax administration “only have to gain” with the implementation of the electronic invoice.

The finding was made in statements to the press, on the sidelines of the clarification session on the electronic invoice to fuel resale agents and supervisors, held by the National Directorate of State Revenues (DNRE). “There is no reason not to adhere and taxpayers only have to earn, with savings on papers and in invoice communication,” he said.

Asked if there is still any mistrust on the part of taxpayers, Dénis Schofield Cardoso said that the process of change always provokes some resistance. “But when they realize the advantages will eventually adhere, not least because it is legally required,” said the official.

This Thursday, the clarification session will be addressed to travel agencies and tour operators.
