TACV will connect Cabo Verde and Portugal with six flights per week

Praia, May 18 (Inforpress) – The Cabo Verde Air Carrier (TACV) announced on Tuesday that it will strengthen flights to Portugal, the only country to which it flies at this time, from July 4, increasing from two to six weekly frequencies.

In a statement sent to Inforpress, TACV announced that will increase from that date to three weekly (currently there are two) the connections between Praia and Lisbon, taking place on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, returning to the Cabo Verdean capital on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The national flag company will fly from Sal island to Lisbon on Wednesdays and Saturdays (currently there is one connection per week) and return on Mondays and Fridays, and from São Vicente to the Portuguese capital on Mondays and Thursdays (one flight currently per week) and return to Cabo Verdean island on Wednesdays and Sundays,  already using the Boeing 737-700 supplied by Angolan Company TAAG under leasing.

“TACV – Cabo Verde Airlines has been gradually adjusting the operation based on the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic and the recovery of the emitting markets,” the statement said, adding that it “is already operating with mixed crew”, that is, Angolan and Cabo Verdean crew.
