Spain proposes soon to install hyperbaric chamber in the defense sector in Cabo Verde

Praia, June 29 (Inforpress) – Cooperation and friendship relations between Cabo Verde and Spain in the defense sector are resulting in a new project that involves the installation soon of a hyperbaric chamber in Cabo Verde.

The information was released today by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Defense, Luís Filipe Tavares, at the award ceremony of the defense attache to the Spanish Embassy in Cabo Verde, Colonel Vicente Hueso Garcia, pointing out that the project of installing a hyperbaric chamber is already being developed.

Meanwhile, the minister praised relations between the two countries in the defense sector “which has developed on several fronts”, such as staff training, special operations unit, military police, language laboratory, visits with air and marine surveillance, and in search and rescue.

Luís Filipe Tavares believes that Cabo Verde and Spain are consolidating a strategic partnership and, in this context, highlights the bilateral relationship with a view to constant reinforcement focused mainly on defense.
