Six public institutions in the country receive international distinction as “Effective CAF User”

Praia, May 7 (Inforpress) – Six public institutions in Cabo Verde will receive the international distinction as “Effective CAF User”, issued by the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA), in partnership with the Directorate-General for Administration and Public Employment (DGAEP) from Portugal.

According to a press release from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the companies covered were the National Directorate of Public Administration (DNAP), Notary and Identification Registry (RNI), City Hall of Praia, City Hall of Sal, National Revenue Service (DNRE) and the Sotavento Chamber of Commerce (CCS).

These six Cabo Verdean public administration institutions applied for the External Feedback (PEF) process, within the scope of the project “Promoting organizational improvement in economic institutions to facilitate the reform of the business environment in Cabo Verde: Implementation of the Structure of the evaluation committee (CAF) ”.

Speaking to Inforpress, the national UNIDO coordinator, Rui Levy, said that at the end of January the external evaluation agents were in the country and the visits they made to these institutions, chosen to implement this pilot project in the country, had evidence that everyone is implementing the methodology correctly.
