Praia, Jan 31 (Inforpress) – The president of the National Police Union (Sinapol), José Barbosa, said that the organization is waiting “serenely” the complete end of the “invented” process after the National Police strike held in December 2017.
It is recalled that after the above-mentioned strike, the Sinapol leader was sentenced to a compulsory retirement sentence, after a demonstration made, while for other members of the corporation, namely the union delegates and coordinators, the punishment was up to 125 days of suspension, with suspensive effect.
Speaking to Inforpress at the International Police Organization (OIP) meeting, held today, 31 January and Friday, February 1, in Praia, José Barbosa said that “Sinapol is not against” and he has been waiting serenely the complete end of the “invented” post-strike process.
“Quietly, we believe in the Cabo Verdean justice, in fact, the judicial power will know to untangle the wheat and tares. Therefore, justice will be done, of course”, he said.
