Praia, Jan 22 (Inforpress) – Private security guards from across the country considers starting a three day peaceful demonstration, if no resolution on the applicability of the wage grid is known until Wednesday, 23rd, approved in 2018.

The information was released today by the president of the Industry, Food, Construction and Allied Union (SIACSA), Gilberto Lima, who is faithful to a meeting to take place this Wednesday, between the Ministry of Home Affairs and private security companies.

The union leader said that on Thursday, 18th, they wanted to schedule the event, but they backed down when he learned that the Ministry of Home Affairs had invited the companies to a meeting.

“The Government is zigzagging. One time says one thing and then says another and makes confusion. That demonstration was to be held on Thursday, but the Ministry of Home Affairs called the private security companies to a meeting on Wednesday morning and we are waiting for a favorable outcome”, he said.
