Mindelo, Nov 15 (Inforpress) – The Journalism course students at the University of Cabo Verde (Uni-CV), in São Vicente, today launched the third edition of the journalistic magazine ‘UniPalavra’, directed by the course coordinator, João Almeida, whose focus is the Santa Luzia reserve.
According to the publication’s director and course coordinator, ‘UniPalavra’ is not a tool but a strategy that can serve to trigger the idea that each individual or the collective can act to change the issue of environment, the way how the environment is treated, the issue of preserving the ecological balance, the political agenda on the environment.
According to João Almeida, this magazine edition may also help to change the preservation of the “so fragile” balance that exists in Cabo Verde and what “must be taken from nature to consume”, what “must be left in nature to make progress”.
“We need to think about the environment in this broad dimension. From the social point of view, from the economic point of view, from the ecological point of view and from the human point of view. So that we can know how to deal with balance ”, emphasized the communicator and university professor.
