Mindelo, Sep 14 (Inforpress) – Nautical tourism operators in Mindelo, who met this Saturday with the Cabo Verde Tourism Institute (ITCV), are concerned about the extension of licenses, since many have already lost the high season.
The information gave to Inforpress by the ITCV executive administrator, Zilca Paiva, who said she was “very satisfied” with the operators’ adhesion to the meeting held this morning, in Mindelo, and where there were “interesting contributions” for the realization of “good health practices for nautical tourism” in Cabo Verde.
On the other hand, according to the same source, the issue of the licenses, mainly for sport fishing, made in conjunction with the Maritime and Port Institute (IMP), stood out.
“The promoters are asking the authorities for some flexibility when it comes to applying for licenses, since some have already lost their peak season,” said the manager, guaranteeing that the ITCV will seek to see, together with other responsible entities, what can be done in this sense.
