Mindelo, Nov 7 (Inforpress) – The Mindelo Free Stage of the Integrated Arts Academy (ALAIM), today hosts the Cloun Creolus Dei, a show that has returned to the stage this year after more than two decades after its first stage.
The play, by the Theater Group of the Portuguese Cultural Center of Mindelo, was initially co-produced in 1996 with the Southern Theater of Portugal and with the artistic direction of Miguel Seabra, who was an artistic residence in Mindelo .
A show, in which, as the writer João Vário classified in 1999, “fine irony, silence, subtlety and comedy reign”.
“This is a theatrical show so complete and at the same time so sober; so beautiful and at the same time so austere; so recapitulative in aesthetic-theatrical terms and, at the same time, so lean and so articulate; so narrative and at the same time so elliptical; so elusive and at the same time so full, so round”, the late writer described.
