Mindelo, April 4th (Inforpress) – The Centro Cultural do Mindelo hosts, starting this Wednesday, the exhibition “Plastic Odyssey,” an itinerant show brought by the Plastic Odyssey expedition ship, which travels around the world to fight plastic pollution.
According to information released by the Centro Cultural do Mindelo, the exhibition takes place within the scale that the 40-meter ship will make on the island of São Vicente until April 18th.
“The Plastic Odyssey team travels the world in search of objects, materials, and ideas to break our dependence on plastic. These objects are presented to local inhabitants at each port of call of the ship,” it revealed, emphasizing that the show will be open to the public until April 13th.
According to the Plastic Odyssey website, the arrival of the ship in São Vicente is part of the three-year expedition around the world that the ship began on October 1st, 2022, in Marseille, France, bringing on board about 20 explorers, whose mission is to find concrete solutions to combat plastic pollution.
