São Vicente: Brazilian Navy donates 15.000 face masks to the Health Station

Mindelo, Sep 29 (Inforpress) – The Brazilian navy donated 15.000 face masks to the São Vicente Health Station and which, according to the APA ship’s commander, represent a way to contribute to Mindelo, which received the crew “very well”.

The ocean patrol APA ship’s commander, Luis Ricardo, was speaking, on Monday morning, during the delivery of the masks at the facilities of the São Vicente Health Station.

“It is a way to contribute to the city of Mindelo, which welcomed us very well here in Porto, with this joy and security in terms of health”, told the same source, stressing the fact that people are wearing masks in indoor facilities and shops, which makes him and his crew “very safe”.

On the Cabo Verdean side, the deputy delegate, Jaqueline Cid, stated that the offer will be “very well received” and it represents a “reinforcement in prevention” of COVID-19.
