Mindelo, Jul 18 (Inforpress) – The Blue Wax Fest water sports festival takes place this weekend in Mindelo, with a “high expectation” of membership and count on the participation of about 32 athletes, said the event’s mentor, Bob Lime.
The expectation for this event, which takes place between 20 and 21, at Tupim beach, in Mindelo, is, according to this responsible, “very high”, taking into account the request of people.
“We have made a strong communication and we believe that the adhesion will be greater than last year, which was the edition zero,” he said, adding the limit participation of 32 athletes, who can still make the registration, since it is open until Saturday, the day the festival starts.
Surfing will be the only modality to be contested for now, and it will divide the stage, according to the same source, with several activities, among them, those of an environmental nature, carried out together with the Biosfera 1 association, that focus on raising awareness among children.
