Mindelo, 19 Sep (Inforpress) – The 10th edition of the Fair of Products of the Sea (Expomar), which starts on Thursday, 21st, will have a mission of the Expomar de Burela Foundation and the Junta de Galícia, both from Spain, to launch contacts with Cape Verdean companies.
This information was given today at a press conference in Mindelo by the president of the Cabo Verde International Fair (FIC), Angélica Fortes, who also indicated that the event will take place in a structure set up in the north access of Porto Grande, with 50 stands, “with at least 45 companies”, of which 30 are Cape Verdean.
According to Angélica Fortes, the arrival of the Spanish delegation is “extremely important” given that the Iberian country has been, in a way, an “important partner” for Cabo Verde.
“The arrival of the delegation is extremely important because the Expomar de Burela Foundation is an institution that promotes everything linked to the sea. Spain has been an important partner for Cape Verde in the maritime sector and there are several companies here already installed in Mindelo, which appeared through Expomar Cabo Verde which emerged in São Vicente”, explained the same source, remembering that the Expomar Spain Foundation brings several companies for contacts in São Vicente.
